We started the People's campaign with the goal of ensuring a brighter future for our children.

We want to inform you why we believe a Mayor Zamdani is certain to jeopardize that future

1. Elimination of Charter Schools and YOUR Fredom of Choice

Mamdani wants to take away your freedom of choice when it comes to education. And - because he is controlled by the Teacher's Union - he seeks to do away with charter schools which are the only schools that are working in New York City. There is overwhelming evidence that students in such schools perform far better on standardized tests and the parents who selected that option are glad they did!

Joel Kein, the Chancellor of Education under Maor Bloomberg penned an important article entitle "How Mamdani Might Kill NYC Schools" saying he was "alarmed at the socialist's policies"

2. Elimination of Talented and Gifted Program

Mamdani seeks to d away with special programs for talented and gifted children which would inhibit their ability to reach their full potential.

3. Risks To Public Safety.

The risks to public safety anticipated in a Mamdani Administration are likely to impact your child's development and well being. Ray Kelly — the longest-serving police commissioner in Big Apple history with stints under Democratic Mayors Mike Bloomberg and David Dinkin - cautioned that electing Mamdani would be "tragedy of major proportions".

NYC Police Union Leader Scott Munro, the president of the Detectives’ Endowment Association representing 21,000 active and retired NYPD Detective, s warned New Yorkers to Vote "as if their life depended on it - because it does". He added that “If Mamdami becomes Mayor there will be fewer cops. More crime. More Victims.A dismantled and defunded NYPD. And a City Hall filled with radical, dangerous cop haters."

Mamdani has a long history of making odious accusations against the police -- and has a long history of calling to defund the NYPD.

4. Opposition To Use of Law Enforcement On College Campuses

Mamdani has called for " halting enforcement against anti-Israeli, anti-America campus protests". This would make our campuses far less safe - is likely to interfere with our children's studies - and is certainly to diminsh to quality of their college experience.

5. Destroying Their Dignity and Their American Dream

Mamdani is the poster boy for the Democratic Socialists of America - a very dangerous group that openly seeks to impose their Orwellian nightmare in New York City and beyond.

Socialism is statism -- and negates the individual's thoughts, ambitions and dreams.

Noble Peace Prize recipient and Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado warned New York "the false promises of socialism ruined my country." She explains:

“The goal of an open society is to have people live with dignity. And in order to have dignity you have to be autonomous as an individual. And that is precisely what socialism takes away. ” She went on...

“When government promises to give you everything, it eventually takes everything: your autonomy, your choices, your freedom."

Indeed, over the past 100 years or so, socialist experiments around the world unleashed a vast tide of tyranny, starvation, and mass murder on a scale never seen before in human history. Socialism was implemented in the Soviet Union, East Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, Maoist China, Chavez-Maduro’s Venezuela, and other places. In every one of these places, it has failed.

As American writer Joshua Muravchik. observes in his 2019 Wall Street Journal article on socialism, “It’s hard to think of another idea that has been tried and failed as many times in as many ways or at a steeper price in human suffering.”
