THE PEOPLE'S CAMPAIGN TO SAVE NEW YORK CITY

October 30th, 2025

Please take the time to read this critically important, comprehensive and well-documented Briefing on Zohran Mamdani's ideological and financial networks.

It was just released by ISGAP Action Corp (ISGAP AC), a 501(c)(4) organization that confronts antisemitism, extremist ideology, and foreign influence in democratic societies.

The report documents the intersections of ideological radicalism, foreign soft power influence, and organizational entryism that have shaped Mamdani’s political trajectory.

From Hamas Apologist to City Hall

The briefing presents a chronological record of Mamdani’s public statements and policy positions that align with Hamas-linked narratives. It notes his repeated refusal to condemn the slogan “Globalize the Intifada” and his use or public tolerance of language echoing Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood-aligned rhetoric such as “from the river to the sea.” The report explains that these slogans are not isolated chants but part of a broader ideological campaign to normalize extremist discourse in political life and to frame calls for the destruction of Israel as expressions of social justice.

Qatar’s Candidate in New York

ISGAP AC’s analysis documents more than fifteen million dollars in Qatari state funding provided to film projects by Mamdani’s mother, filmmaker Mira Nair, through the Doha Film Institute, Qatar Museums, and Qatar Airways, all entities connected to Qatar’s ruling establishment. The briefing explains that these partnerships are part of Doha’s strategic soft power initiative to shape cultural and political narratives internationally. It further notes that Mamdani’s ideological formation is closely linked to this ecosystem of influence and narrative shaping.

Preaching Equality, Practicing Extremism

The report details Mamdani’s alliances with organizations and individuals that have expressed antisemitic or extremist views, and highlights how his continued association with protests and events using slogans such as “Globalize the Intifada” and “from the river to the sea” have blurred the line between activism and incitement.

Critics argue that these slogans have been repackaged as progressive messaging while in reality reinforcing a worldview that erases Israel and inflames social division. The briefing traces how these rhetorical choices intersect with policy advocacy that merges populist housing promises with transnational anti-Zionist mobilization.

“It is incumbent on voters to understand the ideological context that Zohran Mamdani comes from,” said Dr. Charles Asher Small, Director of ISGAP AC. “He established Student for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at Bowdoin College, which is connected to American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), which is a Muslim Brotherhood-aligned entity that calls for the destruction of democracy and the United States, as well as the dismantling of Israel and the murder of Jews.”

The briefing concludes that Mamdani’s rise illustrates a pattern of ideological entryism by which radical movements embed within mainstream political structures while framing their objectives in progressive language.

ISGAP Action Corp underscores the need for transparency, civic vigilance, and public awareness to safeguard democratic institutions against the politicization of extremist ideologies.
