PRESENT AND FORMER LAW ENFORCEMENT CHIEFTAINS WARN OF PUBLIC SAFETY NIGHTMARE UNDER MAMDANI

ree

Present and former law enforcement leaders are sounding the alarm. A Mamdani Mayorship would be a disaster for public safety.

Citizen activists have also conducted deep research into the socialist/Islamist mayoral hopeful's past and concluded he "is a danger to New York City."

Ex-NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly cautioned that electing Mamdani would be "tragedy of major proportions".

Kelly — the longest-serving police commissioner in Big Apple history with stints under Democratic Mayors Mike Bloomberg and David Dinkins — said he is especially worried Mamdani will gut the Police Department while trying to usher in “a whole list of wacky things.”

“It’s a tragedy of major proportions if Mamdani is elected mayor of the greatest city in the world,” Kelly said on WABC 770 AM’s the “Cats Roundtable” program.

NYC Police Union Leader Scott Munro Warned New Yorkers To Vote "as if their life depended on it - because it does"

Scott Munro, the president of the Detectives’ Endowment Association representing 21,000 active and retired NYPD Detectives told The New York Post that New Yorkers better vote like their “lives depend on it.” He added that “If Mamdami becomes Mayor there will be fewer cops. More crime. More Victims.A dismantled and defunded NYPD. And a City Hall filled with radical, dangerous cop haters."

Munro added that "

"The alarm bells are ringing and now everyone can hear it right from the socialist’s mouth. When a top campaign staffer for Zohran Mamdani is caught on video saying, 'Who gives a s–t what cops think?' we’re getting just a glimpse behind the mask of the ‘Sham’dani campaign."

He was referring to a senior campaign staffer for Mamdani was recently caught on hidden camera saying who gives a s–t” what cops think about the socialist candidate.

“They’re city employees. You get told what to do, shut up. When did you get an opinion?” Robert Akleh, the citywide canvass manager for the campaign sniffed to an  “undercover” operative for conservative podcaster Steven Crowder.

Munro added: "In fact, it’s clear that Mamdani and his anti-police friends don’t give a s–t about New Yorkers or their safety. They’re too busy auditioning for applause from the radical left and marching in the streets to care that detectives are marching to file for retirement, that case loads can be 500 per detective, and that the next victim could be your neighbor, your child, or you."

Damon K. Jones, NY Representative of Blacks in Law Enforcement of America wrote that "Mamdani's Agenda reveals a dangerous void: a complete lack of structure accountability, or outcomes-based thinking."

Mr. Jones commented that "Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani represents a new wave of lawmakers pushing a radical shift in criminal justice—one that centers on closing jails, eliminating cash bail, and minimizing the use of incarceration altogether. His rhetoric is polished, his language is morally charged, and his proposals are marketed as progressive solutions to a broken system.

But stripped of slogans and soundbites, his agenda reveals a dangerous void: a complete lack of structure, accountability, or outcomes-based thinking."

He went on...

"Let’s deal with facts. The justice system is far from perfect. But the answer to dysfunction is not abandonment—it’s discipline."

"According to NYPD CompStat, felony assaults have climbed to a 24-year high, with 29,417 reported citywide incidents in 2024—up 5% from the previous year. The surge is particularly evident in precincts covering areas like Harlem, East Flatbush, and parts of the Bronx—communities that are already disproportionately impacted by systemic neglect. NYPD officials have pointed to a 146% increase in repeat felony assault offenders since 2018, linking much of the rise to New York State’s 2020 bail reform law, which severely limited judicial discretion to hold defendants based on their risk to public safety.

In Queens, small business owners continue to report weekly incidents of organized shoplifting, often involving the same individuals who face little to no consequence. Nationally, the National Retail Federation estimates retail theft losses at over $112 billion annually, with much of that driven by coordinated theft rings operating in urban commercial corridors.

When repeat offenders are released without supervision, intervention, or accountability, the justice system doesn’t just fail victims—it creates a revolving door of harm that destabilizes the very communities reformers claim to protect."

CITIZEN ACTIVISTS RELEASED PROFOUNDLY DISTURBING DEEP DIVE VIDEO

A citizen's action group did a deep dive on Mamdani's radical activist past and presented critical information for voters to consider when analyzing Mamdami's credibility and competency on the public safety issue.

Voters should also take note that Mamdani has been a critic and hater of police - and an advocate of defund the police - throughout his career.

He appears to have changed that position in this election after realizing the unpopularity of his long-held positions.

Trying to allay these concerns Mamdani also recently stated that he would keep in place the current NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch whose approach to policing is very different from his - and would be certain to oppose many of the policies he is advocating. However, he was also quick to reassure his socialist, radical base that "I'm the Mayor and Tisch will follow my lead on criminal justice reform". Commissioner Tisch has not indicated whether of not she would be interested in serving under Mamdani.
